Description

These fine-tipped cotton swabs clean the most sensitive areas of cards: corners, edges, printed frames, fine text, or slightly soiled matte areas. Used with the Restore+ spray, they apply the product with precision, without excessive pressure or scratching, in places a cloth cannot reach.

Usage

1. Apply a micro-dose of spray to the tip of the cotton swab, never too soaked.

2. Work in small dabs on the corners, edges, and frame.

3. Then wipe with a clean microfiber cloth.

Never too dry, never too soaked: a micro-dose is enough.

1. Dispense: a micro-dose of spray onto the tip of a cotton swab.

2. Clean: using light dabs on the corners, edges, and frame.

3. Wipe: finish with a clean microfiber cloth.

Your questions about cotton swabs

Can they be used on a holo card?

Yes, provided you do not rub hard. With the spray, they clean shiny areas precisely without damaging the holo layer. For large surfaces, prefer a microfiber cloth.

Do they risk leaving fibers or scratching?

No. Their tip is soft and lint-free: it leaves no residue and does not scratch, even on glossy surfaces.

Should they be moistened before use?

No, not with water. Apply a micro-dose of Restore+ spray to the tip, then work in small dabs. Never dry, never overly saturated.

Are they suitable before a PSA, PCA, or CGC submission?

Yes. They do not alter the ink or the varnish and are commonly used in cleaning routines before submission for grading.

How many times can you use a cotton swab?

They are intended for single use on dirty or greasy areas. On dry or lightly affected areas, a cotton swab may be used 2 to 3 times at most.
